There was a problem with the room (no idea what) and we were relocated to another hotel for one night. This was communicated to us in transit. We were picked up at the station and taken to the other hotel and bags were moved for us next day. The "replacement" hotel was great and we were compensated with a free dinner. I have no complaints about any of this and they dealt with everything perfectly. Room was good size (superior double) and lots of eating options. Staff were incredibly helpful.

Nice hotel in a beautiful timbered village. The hotel has a modern annex where most of the rooms are situated. There is a restaurant on site and a beautiful 11th century cave bar which must be seen.

good location for tourist attractions (which unfortunately were closed in December) - gorgeous room with original features. very friendly staff

The young Black waitress was exceptionally efficient and kind. The tall man who received me in the dining room was scowling and unfriendly, until I said I was a guest at the hotel. He should not have acted suspicious, as though I were trying to steal something.

Location. 24h Checkin. On-site parking. Restaurant / breakfast being having very lovely outdoor seating. Allowing pets.

Perfect location right in the middle of town! Lovely hotel that blends old world charm with modern conveniences. We stayed here during the medieval festival and it was right in the middle of the activities. We were so glad to be able to go to our room to rest or use the bathroom during the day.
